Spotted Flycatcher (Treecreeper in background 21-28s, May, Herts).
The song is an irregular up and down series of high pitched notes that can be confused with the begging calls of fledglings (such as wren or cuckoo), but begging calls are usually more uniform and regular and often come from low cover.
Alarm call (July, Herts).
Pied Flycatcher (June, Gwynnedd)
