Nocturnal migrants September 20th 2012

A few highlights from the night of September 20th, which had light north to north-easterly winds. Recordings made just north of Philadelphia, PA.
Dickcissel (3.06am).

A reasonable candidate for a Bicknell's Thrush flight call (4.32am)

Black-billed Cuckoo (3.46am)

Probable Rose-breasted Grosbeak, a species with a variety of nocturnal calls (4.32am)

Three different warbler buzzes:
Common Yellowthroat, a low electric, insect-like buzz (2.41am)

Chestnut-sided Warbler, a fine buzz (5.18am)

Several warbler species make this higher buzzy call: Blackpoll, Yellow, Connecticut, and Blackburnian (4.18am).
